Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this butter dish is decorated in the Blue Serenity Swirls pattern (1073a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The covered dish keeps a stick of butter protected on the table or in the fridge. This piece holds 1 ¾ cups / 14 oz, measures 5 ¾" long by 4" wide and stands 4" (with lid) tall.
Each piece carries the factory stamp on the base. The lead- and cadmium-free stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe for everyday use.
It is a welcome gift for anyone who collects Polish pottery, and pairs well with our butter dishes.
