Decorated in the Floral Peacock pattern (166a), this serving bowl comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
It's sized for family-style sides, salads, and pasta, and it goes from oven to table. It holds 20 cups and measures 16" across.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
