Star Flower 221a takes its name from the smallest stamp Zaklady uses: a field of tiny blue stars, so fine it reads as a mosaic from a distance, fills the center and edges the rim. Between them runs a ring of red beads set in a green band, a row of small blue daisies with red hearts, and a wreath of larger five-petal blue flowers with green leaves on the cream rim, finished with a cobalt edge.
It is the most detailed of the stamped patterns, with four colors and five distinct bands, but because the dominant color is still cobalt it pairs with the plain traditional designs without clashing. Every piece is hand-decorated at Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec, fired under a clear glaze, and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
