Dreamscape Unikat 160ar

Dreamscape 160ar is the calmest of the Unikat designs. Eight bunches of cornflower-blue tulips, three blooms to a bunch with soft green leaves brushed loosely around them, radiate from a center of small green peacock dots on a gold-flecked ground, edged by a cobalt scallop. The rim repeats the peacock dots in green and gold between two bands of blue scrolls.

With no red anywhere and the green kept soft, it reads as spring rather than summer, and it is the Unikat pattern that sits most quietly beside the traditional cobalt designs. Painted freehand by a Zaklady Unikat artist and signed on the base, the tulips vary slightly from piece to piece.
