Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this apple baker is decorated in the Blue Blossom pattern (1154a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The lidded shape bakes a single stuffed apple or pear and works as a small covered dish for sauces or sides. It holds 1 ¾ cups / 14 oz, measures 5" across and stands 4 ½" tall.
Each piece carries the factory stamp on the base. The lead- and cadmium-free stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe for everyday use.
