Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this butter dish is decorated in the Nature pattern (41). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The covered dish keeps a stick of butter protected on the table or in the fridge. This piece holds 1 ¾ cups / 14 oz, measures 5 ¾" long by 4" wide and stands 4" (with lid) tall.
The factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware. It is lead- and cadmium-free and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
