Decorated in the Floral Peacock Swirl pattern (1085a), this butter dish comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. Every motif is stamped and painted by hand, the traditional Boleslawiec technique, so small variations make each piece one of a kind.
The covered dish keeps a stick of butter protected on the table or in the fridge. The butter dish measures 7 ½" long by 4 ¼" wide and stands 3 ½" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
