Add a whimsical, functional touch to your table with this handcrafted Polish Pottery Cheese Lady featuring the beautiful Floral Swirl Celebration pattern, made by Zaklady Boleslawiec in Boleslawiec, Poland. The domed figural cover sits over the saucer to store and present a wedge or block of cheese, and lifts off for slicing, making it both a conversation piece and a practical way to keep cheese at the table. Durable, dishwasher-safe Polish stoneware. Enjoy the timeless beauty and quality of authentic Boleslawiec pottery.
Decorated in the Floral Swirl Celebration pattern (du126), this cheese lady comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. Every motif is stamped and painted by hand, the traditional Boleslawiec technique, so small variations make each piece one of a kind.
It's a charming figural piece from the Boleslawiec tradition, as much at home on a kitchen shelf as on the table. This piece stands 7 ½" tall.
The factory stamp marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware, made in the same Polish workshop as our dinnerware.
