Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this corn cob dish is decorated in the Mosaic Flower pattern (du60). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The long, narrow shape holds an ear of buttered corn at summer cookouts, and doubles as a small dish for pickles or butter. The corn cob dish measures 8 ¾" long by 2 ¾" wide and stands 1.4" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
