This French butter dish in the Mosaic Flower pattern (du60) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The French butter bell keeps butter soft and spreadable on the counter, sealed by a little water in the base. The French butter dish holds 7 ½ oz, measures 4 ¼" across and stands 4 ¼" tall.
