Decorated in the Blue Blossom pattern (1154a), this hen-shaped covered baker comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The hen-shaped cover makes it a conversation piece at Easter brunch or on a farmhouse table, and it doubles as a covered baker. This piece measures 12 ¾" long by 8 ¼" wide and stands 9" tall.
The factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware. It is lead- and cadmium-free and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
