Add a charming, functional piece to your kitchen with this handcrafted Polish Pottery hen-shaped covered baker featuring the beautiful Floral Butterfly Unikat pattern, made by Zaklady Boleslawiec in Boleslawiec, Poland. The lidded hen doubles as a baker, casserole, and serving or storage dish, perfect for roasts, casseroles, bread, or as a decorative centerpiece. Durable Polish stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Enjoy the timeless beauty and quality of authentic Boleslawiec pottery.
Decorated in the Floral Butterfly Unikat pattern (149 Art), this hen-shaped covered baker comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. Unikat is the factory's premium line: these designs carry far more hand-painted detail than the traditional patterns, and each piece takes considerably longer to decorate.
The hen-shaped cover makes it a conversation piece at Easter brunch or on a farmhouse table, and it doubles as a covered baker. It measures 12 ¾" long by 8 ¼" wide and stands 9" tall.
The factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware. It is lead- and cadmium-free and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
It is an easy gift for housewarmings, weddings, and Polish pottery collectors. Browse other Floral Butterfly Unikat pattern pieces or our full range of chicken serving platters to build a coordinated set.
