Decorated in the Poppies Unikat pattern (150 Art), this hen-shaped covered baker comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. As part of the Unikat line, it is decorated with more elaborate hand-painted detail than the factory's traditional patterns, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
The hen-shaped cover makes it a conversation piece at Easter brunch or on a farmhouse table, and it doubles as a covered baker. This piece measures 12 ¾" long by 8 ¼" wide and stands 9" tall.
Each piece carries the factory stamp on the base. The lead- and cadmium-free stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe for everyday use.
