This kitchen canister in the Peacock pattern (56) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
Canisters keep dry goods close at hand and add color to a countertop. The kitchen canister holds 2 ½ Qt. / 10 cups, measures 6 3/8" across and stands 10 ½" (with lid) tall.
It is made from the same durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware as our dinnerware, with the factory stamp on the base.
