This mixing bowl in the Peacock pattern (56) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
It works as hard in prep as at the table: mix batter or dough, then serve salad, popcorn, or fruit in the same bowl. The mixing bowl holds 5 Quart, measures 10 ¼" across and stands 5 ¾" tall.
The factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware. It is lead- and cadmium-free and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
