This baking dish in the Peacock pattern (56) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
It handles lasagna, casseroles, and roasted vegetables, then goes straight to the table for serving. It holds 4 Qt, measures 18" (handle to handle) long by 11" wide and stands 3" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
It is a welcome gift for anyone who collects Polish pottery. Browse other Peacock pattern pieces or our full range of baking dishes to build a coordinated set.
