This rectangular serving dish in the Floral Peacock Swirl pattern (1085a) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Its raised sides hold roasted vegetables, sliced meats, or a casserole side, and it goes from oven to table. It holds 2 cups, measures 10" long by 5 ¼" wide and stands 1 ¾" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
