Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this scalloped serving bowl is decorated in the Blue Serenity Swirls pattern (1073a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The scalloped rim gives a simple side dish or fruit salad a more festive look on the table. It holds 8 cups, measures 9 ½" across and stands 3" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
It is a welcome gift for anyone who collects Polish pottery, and pairs well with our scalloped bowls.
