Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this bowl is decorated in the Peacock pattern (56). The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
It's sized for breakfast cereal, a scoop of ice cream, or a side dish. The bowl holds 5 oz, measures 3 ¾" across and stands 1.6" tall.
