Decorated in the Peacock pattern (56), this holiday figurine comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
It's a festive decoration for a mantel or holiday table, brought out year after year. This piece stands 6 ½" tall.
