Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this utensil holder is decorated in the Peacock pattern (56). The "peacock eye" motif is one of the oldest and most recognizable Boleslawiec designs, stamped by hand so the placement and color depth vary slightly from piece to piece.
Keep cooking tools within reach beside the stove; the weight of the stoneware keeps it steady. It measures 5 ¼" across and stands 7" tall.
The stoneware is dense and durable with a lead- and cadmium-free glaze, and the factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec pottery.
It makes a thoughtful gift for Polish pottery collectors. Browse other Peacock pattern pieces or our full range of utensil holders to build a coordinated set.
