Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this butter dish is decorated in the Polka Dot pattern (42). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The covered dish keeps a stick of butter protected on the table or in the fridge. This piece holds 1 ¾ cups / 14 oz, measures 5 ¾" long by 4" wide and stands 4" (with lid) tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
It is an easy gift for housewarmings, weddings, and Polish pottery collectors, and pairs well with our butter dishes.
