Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this French butter dish is decorated in the Bluebird Bouquet Unikat pattern (214 Art). Unikat is the factory's premium line: these designs carry far more hand-painted detail than the traditional patterns, and each piece takes considerably longer to decorate.
The French butter bell keeps butter soft and spreadable on the counter, sealed by a little water in the base. This piece holds 7 ½ oz, measures 4 ¼" across and stands 4 ¼" tall.
It is made from the same durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware as our dinnerware, with the factory stamp on the base.
