Core an apple, add a little water, cinnamon, and brown sugar, cover with the lid, and bake about 40 minutes. This charming apple-shaped baker doubles as a decorative lidded jar between uses, and the durable Polish stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Enjoy the timeless beauty and quality of authentic Boleslawiec pottery.
Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this apple baker is decorated in the Poppies Unikat pattern (150 Art). Unikat is the factory's premium line: these designs carry far more hand-painted detail than the traditional patterns, and each piece takes considerably longer to decorate.
The lidded shape bakes a single stuffed apple or pear and works as a small covered dish for sauces or sides. This piece holds 1 ¾ cups / 14 oz, measures 5" across and stands 4 ½" tall.
Like all Zaklady Boleslawiec pottery, it is fired at high temperature into durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware that is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe.
It is an easy gift for housewarmings, weddings, and Polish pottery collectors. Browse other Poppies Unikat pattern pieces or our full range of apple bakers to build a coordinated set.
