Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this French butter dish is decorated in the Floral Swirl Celebration pattern (du126). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The French butter bell keeps butter soft and spreadable on the counter, sealed by a little water in the base. It holds 7 ½ oz, measures 4 ¼" across and stands 4 ¼" tall.
It is made from the same durable, lead- and cadmium-free stoneware as our dinnerware, with the factory stamp on the base.
