This pie and quiche dish in the Cobalt Swirl pattern (174a) is handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Stoneware bakes evenly for a well-browned crust, and the dish goes straight from oven to table. It measures 9 ¾" across and stands 1.9" tall.
