Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this rolling pin is decorated in the Blue Blossom pattern (1154a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Its weight does much of the work with pie crust and cookie dough, and it's decorative enough to display. It measures 2 ½" across.
The stoneware is dense and durable with a lead- and cadmium-free glaze, and the factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec pottery.
