Decorated in the Winter Night pattern (243a), this holiday figurine comes from the Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec factory in Bolesławiec, Poland. The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
It's a festive decoration for a mantel or holiday table, brought out year after year. The holiday figurine stands 6 ½" tall.
The factory stamp marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware, made in the same Polish workshop as our dinnerware.
