Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Bolesławiec, Poland, this corn cob dish is decorated in the Floral Peacock pattern (166a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
The long, narrow shape holds an ear of buttered corn at summer cookouts, and doubles as a small dish for pickles or butter. The corn cob dish measures 8 ¾" long by 2 ¾" wide and stands 1.4" tall.
Each piece carries the factory stamp on the base. The lead- and cadmium-free stoneware is dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer safe for everyday use.
