Handmade by Zaklady Ceramiczne Boleslawiec in Boleslawiec, Poland, this pie and quiche dish is decorated in the Star Flower pattern (221a). The design is applied by hand with small sponge stamps and brushwork, so each piece varies slightly and no two are exactly alike.
Stoneware bakes evenly for a well-browned crust, and the dish goes straight from oven to table. This piece holds 32 oz, measures 10 ½" across and stands 1 ½" tall.
The factory stamp on the base marks it as authentic Boleslawiec stoneware. It is lead- and cadmium-free and safe for the dishwasher, microwave, oven, and freezer.
